The intro to borderlands, I didn’t record this.

Yes, that’s a pretty old game. It was first released for XboX360, and only one year later ported to PS3. It’s very good looking and beautiful, goodish story. By that i mean there is no dark tunnels, dark graphics and etc. Everything is very colorful. Somehow it’s a little similar to Valkyria Chronicles, if you played that game..
One thing i don’t like about this game tough, that in later levels it get’s more action RPG than turn based (wich i preffer more). It’s more button mashing than in other games.. Also you have very small ammount of time when you can think of what to do next.
I have to admit, i didn’t finished the game. I don’t know why, guess because i have some changes in my real life, and they are now more interesting for me than the Eternal Sonata. Alltough real RPG fans will enjoy this game and it will be great addition to your collection.
As always, here are some reviews:
Amazon has it for about 50$ (at least the day when i checked). You should get this game to kill some time, really! Another great ps3 rpg.

With the 3rd post in a row about giving a talk I do realize the need for variation but I had to share that MediaX have invited me to come speak. The event will take place on Thursday, November 5th at noon.
My focus will be on the work I have been involved in on the content side of the Sirikata equation (long winded way of saying less technical). Here is the abstract:
The platform has grown out of a several years of research at Stanford University, initiated by Media X, and the current ambition is to expand into a fully community run open source project. At the Stanford Humanities Lab we have built practical projects that explores potential futures of collaboration, cultural institutions and musical performance. Bennetsen will demonstrate and discuss this work in context of new technological possibilities offered by Sirikata.
The whole deal over at Events at Stanford
Looks like Bethesda and Interplay are going to be having some fun. According to this thread at the rpgcodex, Bethesda are suing Interplay over their distribution of Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics via Good Old Games. Now obviously I don’t know all the details but it does seem just a little bit petty and I’n not really sure how many people would get confused that The Fallout Trilogy and Fallout 3 might not actually be the same game!!!
Anyway, have a look at the thread and let me know what you think – do Bethesda have a valid case or is this another instance of legalism gone mad?
Just added a section under Card Games about Solitaire – everyone’s favorite, whether by hand or on the computer. Is there anyone who can resist playing the Solitaire game when sitting in front of their computer? My favorite is Spider Solitaire.
