I hope the great work Don and his wife have been putting into packaging Warlord cards is paying off and you have received already some of them. 
Before I have more Warlord-related news: In the coming three days you may experience non-connection issues with my websites as I am migrating to a different server solution. If I can pinpoint the outages more precisely, I’ll be announcing them here.
In trying to put some additional promo Warlords on the print sheet at the last minute we all overlooked an OPT statement (on each) that were apparent to and intended by all involved in the creation.
Therefore both Rabinus the Elder and Warmaster Sceth receive immediate errata:
Rabinus the Elder should say: “React: Once per turn, before target character you control…” and
Warmaster Sceth should say: “Order: Once per turn, ready target non-stunned Siege.”
Both these Warlords are not legal in official tournaments at this point, therefore the errata effectively only apply to challenges for now.
So the new Daemonlord turns out to be a beast, unbeaten at KoHIT. Here are his abilities, revealed. I imagine he will be played extensively in Highlander mode from now on (I’ll certainly change my deck to that).
The last KoHIT turned out to be bitter-sweet: It was great to see some of the old guard there – Sy Hughes made his way over from the UK, bringing along Tom and Ellen van Kerkhoven from Belgium. Carlos Gaedtke came all the way from Brazil – again! and indomitable Manolis Trahiotis came from Athens.
Some last minute cancellations could have dampened spirits, but in the end everything went okay – the location turned out to be ideal for our purpose.
Special kudos go out to Oliver Maschmeier – he is the only person to attend all 10 KoHITs as a player (Manolis is the other person to have been at every single one of them).

By now you have seen all the new characters, actions and items from the regular APS. Ancient Lore is a “freak” addition. The underlying storyline (as much as there is) for the City of Gold expansion was that there were rumors of huge treasures in a sunken city, knowledge and powerful magic from ages ago.
All the factions then sent armies on the quest for this city. As it turns out, the city is the old home of a race called now “the Golden Ones.”, a highly magical race that was only challenged by another powerful empire, that of the Sutek.
At this point nobody knows how it came to pass, but somehow these two races went to a final war and then oblivion. What we find of them these days is but a hollow shadow of their past (both the Sutek and characters like Meri-es-anch).
With that background, what can the warriors of Warlord expect to find, if and when they find the City of Gold? Ancient Lore of course…

Heroes? Pah, don’t they realize that thing called KoHIT is a trap to get them all in one place and annihilate them?
It is time. While Gigi Corradini unfortunately cannot come to KoHIT, he has sent both his copy of Gixu the Jester as well as Imperator Gixu to me.
And I absolutely agree with his request to have Carlos Alberto Gaedtke play both of them, coming all the way from Brazil to attend KoHIT.
Imperator Gixu will be revealed as soon as one copy of the Jester is defeated, or on Saturday night, whichever comes first. If the Saturday night reveal is not “forced”, it’s Carlos’ choice whether he wants to accept challenges on Saturday or wait till Sunday.
Also in attendance will be Queen-Mother Nyssara and Atu the Fallen.
